The "Brainstorming" session was a huge hit, allowing attendees to speak directly to experts who volunteered to be on a panel. Marybeth Everhart was the moderator who kept everything going smoothly, while adding her magical touch of humor. Michael Starkman and Keith Vincent assisted Jeremy Thorne in answering some difficult questions. And as always Jeremy, ASI chief programmer, added to the wish list a few more functions soon to be added to the development version of Eclipse because of requests from those attending.
Punc Rock! AGAIN...this seminar stays right on top as one of the best seminars, ever! Yes it's been, again, attendee evaluated as one of the favorite "all attendee" seminar at the ESP Network annual convention for this year; sustaining the enthusiastic atmosphere resulting in growing popularity from year-to-year. Thank you Jim Barker and Lynda Batchelor-Barker for helping with putting our event on top of the list of conventions to attend! Your seminar is a high value educational program for all the reporting industry as well as our annual convention.

Early in 2008 we were approached by: Steve Kosmata, who offered teaching an auto-indexing class. Management at our office in Oregon were excited, but a little reserved in thinking how well it would work as part of the agenda. This type of instruction is one very hard, if not the toughest, class to convey clearly to a room full of attendees. Steve was hailed as one who succeeded with apparent ease. We are thankful to have had Steve with us to assist ESP Network in providing another avenue in our training agenda.
Steve's email if anyone or attendee wants to make contact.
The management staff at the Flamingo hotel has offered ESP Network space again for next year, 2009. It's a huge bonus to have built a continuing relationship with the Flamingo for over 7 years now. Instead of having to use 3 months up contacting many hotels that involve intense negotiations, we can concentrate on providing attendees with much improved programming at a familiar site. Many ESP members attend the convention year after year and love the familiarity of knowing where they're going, where to find food and entertainment, etc., not to mention the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff.
Next year we are planning an all new format as far as how the seminar day flows. Initial reaction from the many attendees we discussed it with on site this weekend was positive, so we'll give it our best shot to make the ideas happen. Many thanks to all attendees who have took the time to discuss and offer suggestions with our staff on site! Please feel free to e-mail your suggestions while we're still in the planning stage and we will implement as many as we possibly can. The brainstorming session that was so successful happened as a result of your input in the past. Use this link Contact us if you want to add to many suggestions we have received.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm!

Jeremy Thorne is just incredible! Immediate answers to very involved questions, and such a pleasure to be around. Jeremy is noted for implementing code into his program, Total Eclipse, in minutes. It was apparent in the advanced class and during the "Brainstorming" session how amazing his ability is.
Keith Vincent is always helping, fixing computer problems, and running all over the event when he isn't speaking. Almost consider Keith as Jeremy's right-hand man. Another amazing person with extraordinary abilities, which is always evident during his "all attendee" presentations, small group discussions, or one-on-one conversation.

Marybeth Everhart Realtime information is a must for every reporter. Marybeth received rave reviews from those that attended her Sunday Realtime Coach program. Marybeth has provided her expertise for our attendees since the beginning of the Network's conception in the early '90s. Her willingness to support our group has given the ESP Network agenda a solid foundation with integrity.

Michael Starkman is an awesome instructor and loyal ESP Network participant! Michael has been involved with the Network since the mid '90s, and for many years was our beginning class instructor. Michael returned this year as the intermediate class instructor and carried on his reputation! We appreciate Michael for continually supporting our efforts for better Eclipse training.
Jan Fuller is one of the original volunteers from many years back. She continues to develop the beginning class from when she took over Michael Starkman's position a few years ago. She is also the ESP Network's talented Newscache editor. Jan also helps us, every year, by arriving a day early to assist management in the pre-seminar preparation process. She's another person who is simply ready to get the job done and have fun at the same time.
Jim Barker again delivered exceptional information with his SearchMaster and - everyone's favorite - Punc Rock! seminars. Jim's general session seminars continue to be a favorite. It wouldn't be an ESP Network convention without Jim and his beautiful sidekick and wife, Lynda!
Lisa Collini This was Lisa's second year instructing scopist seminars at our convention. She has helped many scopists get to another level of their field, and we appreciate her efforts to help improve our agenda.
Peter Jepsen is an incredible person who not only stood in for Chris Ales at the last minute, but it was also an honor to have him as a stand-in for the CEO of Advantage Software, Inc. as our luncheon speaker. Peter is new to ESP Network, and we respect him and enjoyed his presence both at the luncheon as the main speaker and working with the voice writers who attended the event. Peter's email
David Spackman was the second speaker at our luncheon and is involved with an incredible software program called Parallels, which, among other things, allows us to seamlessly run our Windows programs (including Eclipse!) on Mac hardware. David talked about multi-operating system accessibility on one single computer; Mac to PC or PC to Mac...and much more!
