ATTENDING OUR CLASSES
NEW NOTICE!
The basic rules while onsite in 2010:
- Limiting audience questions until a designated question-and-answer period will help keep the seminar on schedule.
- Attending the class that is a little above your comfort zone is suggested.
- Know all basics of the Total Eclipse Software prior to attending.
- Know your computer operating system; Windows, Mac, etc..
- Guests in the seminar room or break areas are not allowed.

Read below to see where you may fit in...
Please do not place yourself in a category that's above your knowledge of the software. You are allowed to move from one class to another if space allows. We've always had space available for those few that had to move so if a class is too basic OR too advanced for you, contact us at a break and we will check for space availability.
We need to know PRIOR TO moving from one room to the next in order to ensure there is enough seating and space. |
ADVANCED
| You're always thinking of how to make your translation, editing and product processing faster. You've been working with form field automation, adjusting multiple types of dictionaries, you may have been working with your auto-indexing files and in need of knowing more advanced techniques within the newest version of the Eclipse software. Not thinking advanced, advanced, advanced?...then read the next level below... |
INTERMEDIATE
| You have been fine tuning your prefix/suffix tables. You have been adjusting your dictionary entries so your translation is faster and more accurate...the goal is to make your editing time less. You know how to make your own macros but may not use many. You know how to make your own read/block files. You can easily navigate through the basic menus and almost all of the intermediate menus. You're using more of the QUICK/SPEED KEYS instead of scrolling through menu options. You've produced your *own defined" dictionary entries, auto-fill-in fields, and block files. You may not use macros but you may know how to incorporate specialized writer strokes with specific macros to automatically insert read files directly into your translated text. If you're not thinking of higher levels of the intermediate area of Eclipse, working towards the advanced level, then read the next level below... |
BEGINNING
Thinking that maybe you should attend Intemediate level because you've been using Eclipse for over a year...however you are still using modified job files that were created by someone else.
You have NOT made yourself your own read/block files, caption, exam or certificate pages... if so...then you need to attend this class.
If you do not know how your prefix/suffix processing works, unable to make adjustments on the fly and your globals have been coming out strange...then you need this class.
if you're not comfortable working with your job and main dictionary... then you need to take this class.
If you don't know the basic QUICK KEYS for notes/editing/dictionary processing... then you need to take this class.
