The Eclipse Software Professionals Network (ESP Network) is made up of people who purchased software sold by Advantage Software, Inc. The users network was formed to facilitate learning of the software and as a "bridge" between the company, on the one hand, and the users of the software on the other. We all are users just like you.

The ESP Network is run strictly by Eclipse users, not employees of Advantage Software.

    • History
Bill Olensky is the primary founder of ESP Network (Eclipse Software Professionals Network). He resides in Florida and is an owner/operator of a very successful freelance reporting firm with locations throughout the state of Florida. Bill's main firm office is located very close to ASI headquarters and they are often involved in Eclipse software testing.
    • We are serious about providing the best quality training in accordance with NCRA guidelines.
    • We are serious about having fun after training.

    • We believe in promoting a better life
through a better understanding of using your software!

In 1992 Bill and three other reporters began the Eclipse Users Group and held their first seminar in Florida. They provided up-to-date training for Eclipse users. In those early days, until around 1997, 2-day conventions were offered and all classes were held in one meeting room. All users paid for the two days and all attendees listened to all level of classes.

As ESP Network evolved, it was evident that somehow the training classes needed to be divided into skill levels. Beginning in 1997, three different levels of training in three separate rooms was incorporated into the convention format. In addition to this change in class format, two conventions per year, one on the East Coast and the other on the West Coast, was put in place.

In 2002 ESP Network had to discontinue having two conventions per year due to the high cost of hosting two gatherings per year. Member input and prior convention statistics led to the decision to hold one event per year in Las Vegas.

      Future Goals
Our future goals are to increase the membership numbers thus reinforcing our efforts to provide continuing advancements in the seminar program format. To once again provide two seminars per year without being creative financially. And to provide ways to support, encourage and promote more membership benefits
