    ESP Network Seminar Cancellation policy:

ESP NETWORK membership fees are not refundable..
If you are a nonmember and elect to become a member, the membership fee is not refundable.

  • Refunds - refund will be issued, minus a $50 administrative fee , IF notice of cancellation is received 10 days or more prior to the event.
ESP Network membership dues paid are not refundable.

  • No refund - Cancellation notice received after the 10-day deadline there will be no refund
ESP Network membership dues paid are also not refundable.

  • Full credit/no refund - Events that are cancelled by ESP Network for reasons beyond the network's control, such as acts of God, acts of terrorism and/or acts of war, will result in a credit of all seminar fees paid (no refunds on any ESP Network annual dues paid) to be applied to a rescheduled or the next scheduled ESP Network annual event. Credit is not valid and cannot be applied to any ESP Network convention after any rescheduled/scheduled event. Within 30 days of cancellation we will notify all attendees by email of the rescheduled/scheduled date and time. Under these circumstances, any person who has paid for the cancelled event, and has not received our notice of the rescheduled/scheduled date and time within 30 days must contact ESP Network. All notified should respond to ESP Network acknowledging our notification.
Being a member of ESP Network at the time the event being cancelled your annual membership could lapse by the time the rescheduled/scheduled event takes place. You're responsible to maintain your ESP Network membership according to your anniversary date.
The seminar fee amount held and to be fully applied to the replacement convention will likely cover the cost of the seminar fees for the ESP Network training you elect to attend but may not.

Seminar fees are transferable. If you are unable to attend an event, you may transfer your seat to a colleague so that they may attend in your place. If the attending person is transferred to attend 10 days or less prior to the event they may be required to pay extra fees.
ESP Network membership fee paid is not transferable.
ESP Network retains your seminar fee and will need the person's personal/business information for seminar purposes.
ESP Network will then contact this person to discuss membership status if needed.

ESP Network is not responsible for any money exchange between you or anyone you select to take your place at the event you had to cancel.

    NCRA-STATE Credits

    ATTENDING OUR CLASSES
    NEW NOTICE!

The basic rules while onsite in 2009:
    • Limiting audience questions until a designated question-and-answer period will help keep the seminar on schedule.
    • Guests in the seminar room or break areas are not allowed.
Thank you for keeping these guidelines in mind to ensure everyone has a positive seminar experience!!

ESP Network staff are at the convention to primarily assist and help each attendee. Secondly we are required to monitor attendees attendance while classes are in session. Some attendees are taking too much time outside the classroom. ESP Network staff are not expecting attendees to violate any rules set forth by NCRA, making an extra effort to watch for violations, but if one is noticed each of our staff are expected to take the appropriate action. Please take a few short breaks and not so many that you could lose important credits.

Any attendee(s) that are observed outside the classroom for more than a reasonable amount of time or they continue to go in and out of the classroom more than what is considered normal, that attendee will not get their card punched for that class(es). We are held by NCRA and any state certification board to the 15 minute rule when arriving and leaving and all must be in the classroom during instruction except to go to the bathroom or grab something to drink. In and out of the classroom 2 times or less (and each time is a reasonable length of time) per hour is considered okay.

  • Computer problems do happen and that's why we have techies available. However, this time is not to be used as a convenience break. It is solely used for getting a computer situation taken care of as quickly as possible.

ESP Network is authorized, by the National Court Reporters Association, to punch NCRA cards and required to follow CEU guidelines set by NCRA only. For State credits and you have specific questions you must contact their respective education board. We cannot help you, call your board for complete details.

  • Convention CEUs for Texas is approved for 2.0 CEUs Sponsor Number S2008-020.
  • We are not an agent, employee of Advantage Software, Inc., part of any State Association or Certification Board. We are an "independent" network of Eclipse software users
  • NCRA CREDITS
  • NCRA has approved this convention for a total of 2.0 CEUs.
  • NVRA has approved this convention for a total of 20 CEs.
  • TEXAS has approved this convention for a total of 2.0 CEUs Sponsor Number S2008-020
  • Don't need credits? A few attendees over the many years have contacted us after the event and want credits. Sorry, we can't help those people with credits after the fact
  • NCRA CARDS Are provided in each attendee's packet for NCRA credit punching
  • NCRA CEUs: Onsite, before you go home - before ESP Network staff leave, you should give us your NCRA CARD or you will need to mail NCRA your punched card. Forgot to give us the NCRA CARD? Do not mail it to ESP Network. Make a photocopy of the punched card and mail the original card to NCRA headquarters (keep the photocopy as a record)
  • NCRA allows ESP Network authorization to punch for credits and because of this ESP Network must follow all guidelines setforth by NCRA or any certification board(s) approving ESP Network.
  • REIMBURSMENT: You must talk with your Judge or Accounting Administrator to see if they will accept our punched forms as verification of your attendance. If the answer is NO, you should have them provide you with a form that we can sign and punch (As you depart the convention, not at the end of each class) to ensure that you are REIMBURSED for your trip. Otherwise this will delay your compensation from your employer.
Your employer may elect to use a purchase order. We accept purchase orders from your employer which will include our Federal ID number.
IMPORTANT Payments by PO must reflect the amount indicated by deadlines. Allow ample time to get the appropriate deadline when using a purchase order process. EXAMPLE: If you want the deadline fee prior to January, then you should request a PO from your employer by the end of November.
Consider at least 40 days for us to receive the payment. Once the purchase order has been processed and ESP Network receives the money, we would then formally place the attendee in the event at that time.

  • STATE CREDITS

  • It is each attendee's responsibility to ensure that they are going to receive credits at any of our events by contacting their local certification board prior to attending. Texas has approved this convention Sponsor Number S2008-020 for 2.0 CEUs no need to contact the certification board. However, if you have specific questions, you must speak with them directly.

  • Don't need credits? A few attendees over the many years have contacted us after the event and want credits. Sorry, we can't help those people with credits after the fact

  • 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper with agenda outline is placed in each attendee's packet which can/will be punched with the official NCRA punch, and either signed or hand stamped with an official ESP Network stamp. Having the sheet punched or stamped is up to you. It depends if you need credit confirmation. Most State Associations and Certification Boards will accept this as an official confirmation that you attended each class that's punched. Texas approved 2.0 CEUs for this event and has assigned this sponsor number S2008-020 for this event.

  • REIMBURSMENTS: You must talk with your Judge or Accounting Administrator to see if they will accept our punched forms as verification of your attendance.

  • STATE credits: You must KEEP FOR YOUR RECORDS the original and make a copy of the punched/stamped or signed agenda paper sheet or approved form sending or giving that copy to a particular State/County entity or employer.

  • DID YOU LEAVE your sheet of paper somewhere after the convention? You must FIRST contact your certification board or employer for instructions on what you should do. They may give to you or mail to you the appropriate forms. If so, then you may elect to fax/mail to ESP Network. We can only sign-date and mail/fax back to you, within 72 hours, the "copied" original NCRA card (if you elect to use the NCRA card provided in your packet) you had us punch onsite. The NCRA card copy is an official copy/duplicate of your original attendance sheet punched while at the event. You should also copy your payment receipt and convention confirmation notice emailed to you from us when you enrolled/paid prior to the event.

  • It is up to each attendee to make certain that they obtain and keep, for their records at a future time, all information offered by ESP Network which is all in the packet given to each attendee onsite and **MAY** include a "sponsor" number, ESP Network staff signature or signature stamp. You should make certain that the appropriate sponsor ID is used and clearly visible on your confirmation sheet included in your packet.

  • We suggest that you obtain a punch hole, immediately after each class, for each category on your sheet and a single approved signature or official ESP Network stamp on your form when you've completed your stay and all done while onsite.

  • REMEMBER! When the convention is over and you don't hand in a duplicate copy (NCRA punched card) or take the punched paper sheet home with you for safe keeping, we won't have any copies of you attending. We will then only have your enrollment form and payment receipt stating that you enrolled and paid. But that's it. This is not considered proof that you attended.
  • MEMBER INFO

    Paid-current ESP Network members

MEMBERS: Each of you will need to use your ESP Network member login username/password to get access to the "protected" registration/enrollment/payment pages online. Use the check membership status on the homepage or contact us link if you're not sure of membership status.

  • If you're a current paid ESP Network member, you will be entitled to a seminar discount.
  • If you are going to enroll as a member, because you want the discounted fee, you can expect to save approximately $25.00. This savings is based on the nonmember price of $50 more to attend than a member. By paying to become a member of $25.00 you will actually receive $25 off when paying to attend plus receiving other benefits available to members for one year where as nonmembers pay more just to attend the event receiving no member benefits.
  • ESP Network annual fees are far less than any other software support groups in the country. Other software support groups list their annual fees ranging from $15 (students) to $125 (reporters) MORE than ESP Network's listed annual membership fee. And ours is a flat fee across the board to all members whether they are reporters, scopists or students. ~ * Documented online per respective web sites, May 2006 * ~
  • ESP Network was established in 1992 and currently averaging over 450 paid and active members. During convention registration membership increases 20% of the average.
  • The Network provides quality NCRA approved educational programs to all members of ESP Network and Non ESP Network members.
  • All instruction at every convention is directly associated to real life Eclipse software training. Non essential or fluffy programs are not part of our training.
  • During off-time, at our conventions, we have more fun...more than what can be listed here.

We believe in promoting a better life
through a better understanding of using your software!
